I was still in secondary school when one of our senior in our local assembly who had entered university came back and was gisting us about NIFES. And that was how Istarted preparing myself to join NIFES. Truly, I met God in NIFES. I learnt how to study the Bible and pray, I received the holy ghost in NIFES. I served in group fellowship and now serving as an exco of my alumni Fellowship. The leadership skills I learnt has always made me stand out in any group I see myself. I am always asked to join the leadership team. There’s a whole lot to say. NIFES shall not die.

I got to know NIFES around 1993 in Secondary School through a church member who was in UNIPORT then. He took interest in discipling me and always shared stories of outreaches in riverine areas with me.
On gaining admission to UNIBEN, I went to look for NIFES Fellowship there – became Evangelism Secretary in 200L, to Subzonal Outreach Secretary, to Zonal Prayer Sec to Zonal President….served the major part of my 5-year course. GO-FEST was a watershed in my life!

On graduation, I was a Corper TS in Kano zone in 2002 and now an Associate. Shapened through series of LTC, METS, IBS, Literature Evangelism, interactions with staff & senior friends, Prayer & Mission Conferences, I have decided to commit to playing my part in enabling succeeding students generation to have access to this great opportunity that I was given.

A common denominator in churches is to always ask NIFESIANS if they have been to Bible College or Theology School. NIFES indeed ‘transforms’ for society “impact”!. I highly recommend NIFES for every tertiary students.

Happy 55th, Great Family!

Nifes has made me who I am today. I join nifes 2003 as a student. After school I served as vts and after that I also served as Corp training sec in NYSC NIFES Katsina state. In Katsina I meet my secret disciple in person of late Bar uyi Igunma Esq he taught me a lot of things dat I need to know about life.

I get to know NIFES through our former Kaduna Zonal president in the year 2018. It was never a mistake that I joined the fellowship. Through NIFES trainings on Campus level, Zonal level and national level am a better christain and a better christain leader in my Campus, Church and my society, God bless NIFES leadership and all resource persons.
I can only share little of my NIFES story as the medium πŸ”‰ is a constrain to me.
Thank you NIFES.

My NIFES Story…

A young man who had just entered the University with goals centered around enjoying life and focusing on academics. Attending any fellowship on campus wasn’t a priority until a fellow student encouraged me to at least visit even if it once the fellowship on campus called NIFES.
After some persuasion, I decided to give it a try. At the fellowship that same day, they announced a program called first-year retreat, which I initially didn’t want to attend. However, on that day I was appointed as the Coordinator for the first-year student by Uncle Morrison who happens to be the Training Secretary for the Zone that year. Despite some initial resistance, I embraced the role and coordinated various fellowship activities. During the precious retreat, the guest speaker’s message deeply resonated with me, leading me to genuinely give my life to Christ. This marked the beginning of my spiritual journey with God through NIFES.

Shalom

I get to know about Nifes through my Physics teacher,I bless God for directing my path to a destiny molding place!

Thank you NIFES for all the molding and trainings, plus the gift of men!

MY STORY OF HOW I JOINED Nifes Mautech

Before I resumed school/got admission to university, I already heard about how there is SHILOH in the university(a place of PRAYER) so I was eager to maximally utilise shiloh. As my custom is, I resumed and made inquiries and it was described to me, knowing and studying geography, I located the place and began going there at evening time to offer Incense. While I was dedicated and making Incense, one of the days, after offering Incense and returning, I met a minstrel playing and praying and been sensitive to sound, I tarried with him.

After he was done, I asked him: can you teach me how to play acoustic guitar 🎸 and he replied with a smile ☺ sureπŸ€—πŸ€—

He then said to me, am inviting you for NIFES prayer retreat starting tomorrow and I agreed(I didn’t even know the venue as a new student but he made the description and again, I traced the venue)

Hearing the words/utterances and prayers made, my spirit bearing me witness that NIFES is for me.

The president at that time met me and said: hope we will be seeing you? I said to him: No one hears such a word and leaves πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Today, I am not only a proud NIFESian but the President of same Fellowship and have seen the visible hand πŸ– of God
