2019 January 7th, in my room after a hot class, someone just knocked on my door, i open, we are from nifes he said, what is Nifes i asked, i fellowship here in campus, and we came for Evangelism, ok i said, he sat down and he became to discuss about the word of God, after that he invited me to fellowship, okay I said, i never attended because that was not my plan coming to school.
Second day, we came again, I didn’t see you in fellowship he said, i was busy i replied, he said okay, so his Sunday is fellowship after church hope you will come, okay I will try.
On Sunday i went.
after fellowship he spoke to me, encouraged me to come to alpha club, okay I said, i know i attended only 4 to 5 times, many many things happened, i wrote exam of alpha club came out second.
Before you know it eleco, next election everything was happening fast, i just told God, i no wan serve abeg, i even voter the brother paired with me.
After the election i began to attend the fellowship, prayers, night prayers and then i loved nifes.
I became DCG coordinator next election, next FYB coordinator to outreach secretary.
This my finals in school and as a student leader in Nifes, this four years has become my best years in life, my experience massive, knowledge out of this world.
God has been good to me……

NIFES gave me a home . I got to know God on a solid level in NIFES. The trainings, retreats, prayer meetings and impartations helped me build a close walk with the Holy Spirit. And service in Nifes built virtues in me. I didn’t even know I was changed until my family started making reference to my new personality. I’m grateful for the gift of Nifes and the opportunity to serve God here.

Having been nurtured in ACM ( Anglican Children Ministry). I have the burden of joining a fellowship in school but I wanted something different from my church. I need a fellowship where different denominations worship.
Bro Danniel Ugoji preached to me and followed me up.
NIFES is a home to be, I grew stronger in Christ, leadership role, and socialization.
The better version of myself was birthed in Nifes, the growth continues.

It all started when i came to school and i was led to be in Nifes. It was a prayer meeting. oh my Goodness!! I love to pray and i was so happy because i found youth that can pray.
I saw souls that are burning for Jesus, it was so beautiful and encouraging.

I was a young girl who just gained freedom from home for the first time, I went to school to explore and enjoy my liberty.
I came into Nifes on a Tuesday, during the prayer meeting, I entered Nifes with a burden, and for the first time, I felt God’s presence and heard from Him.
In Nifes I encountered love
I experienced love
I encountered Love(Christ)
I learnt sacrifice
I learnt servant leadership,
Nifes groomed me Spiritually and Academically.
Nifes brought the best out of me.
In Nifes I met a Family.
Looking back at those beautiful days. Grateful to God for the gift of Nifes.

I will forever praise God for the ministry of NIFES. I had just given my life to Jesus barely two months when I got admission into ASUTECH Enugu (now ESUT) in 1984. I joined the Christian Union (under NIFES) immediately. So, NIFES taught me The ABC of the Christian life, from assurance of salvation, to the Bible doctrines to witnessing to Christian service. The training was such that on graduation in 1988, I could answer God’s call to full time service as missionary. I have since then served God faithfully as a missionary through Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) till date, no regrets. Where did I get the foundation for discipleship, endurance, perseverance, love fellowship etc that have helped me to face the rigours of missionary life all these years? NIFES! Not to talk of the so many souls and the “nations” that now have citizens in heaven by extension through NIFES.
As I celebrate NIFES today I celebrate all the heroes/heroines the Lord has used as full-time/part-time ministers/staff through the years till date to man NIFES as a body and move it’s ministry forward. Praying for more fruitful and productive years for all of you, to all Nifesans, to NIFES Nationwide and globally.

NIFES gave me a platform for self discovery, growth and development. It taught me self-discipline, leadership skills, discipleship and faith walk with God. Thank you NIFES for building a breed of unique people over the years.

My NIFES Story.
It all began in a Monday Evening in my 100L first semester. After Monday class,I went to an empty class to stay and Study. By 5:00pm,A male student came in with someother person with their Bible. I wondered in my mind what they came for. So ,I did like I didn’t notice them. So ,One of them Known as Bro. ubong. Approached me and told me that they will be having fellowship there. So, he asked if I can excuse them or I should rather join them. I actually agreed because I have always wanted to look for a fellowship brethen and decided to go drop my bag and come back to join them.
That evening was a wonderful experience for me to have such a lovely fellowship with NIFES family because,I was already troubled with School Issues. I felt peace and I was stirred up.
NIFES really made me know that you have the potential to write an exam successfully without indulging in exam malpractice.Nifes helped me to grow spiritually ,academically and Mentally. NIFES made me not to be a mediocre. I learnt evangelism from NIFES . NIFES removed stage fright and fearful Nature from Me..They made me desire God more than ever before. I am glad I met NIFES. I miss NIFES family fellowship.

I encountered this Body in 2019.
I encountered Love, Vibe, Graceful energy and a beautiful bond. I got attracted and since then we’ve been family.
Still reminiscing on what to put up here but there’s this certainty, that I’ve learned, unlearned, I’ve been pruned and still pruning, I’ve grown and still growing.
I’ve encountered mercy
I’ve encountered grace
I’ve learned sacrifice
I’ve learned servant leadership
I’ve come to understand in depth what soul winning is, I got to know about missions.
I’ve been subjected to Discipleship and mentorship
The list is just endless but I’m grateful for the gift of Nifes.
Thank you Mother NIFES for all you have done and is still doing to this little girl.
This is 55 years of God’s faithfulness.
We keep making Jesus proud.
We keep building tomorrow’s leaders today.
