It was a great blessing to encounter Christ through NIFES. It all started on 12/12/2012 at the Enugu LTC after Uncle Peter’s ministration(then Director of Campus Evangelism). Like play my spiritual, academic and every aspect of my life began to experience dimensions of growth, from one realm to another.
By the time I left school in 2016, it was very obvious that God has transformed & built me up in various capacities through NIFES.
Upon graduation I realised that NIFES is a family beyond campus.

Oh! I Love this family of God(NIFES)

God Bless NIFES.

Wow! What a joy to be part of this family. I remember how we celebrated 30th anniversary in Imo State as an undergraduate. NIFES truly have come of age. Congratulations and happy birthday NIFES. 🎂

My NIFES story is so voluminous to share in a brief.

However, I will share one out of many. I was trained to be mission minded and be concerned about the lost souls in NIFES, both through teachings and practically going on missions outreaches at group, subzone and zonal levels.

I left campus and became a missionary and my life have been fulfilling purpose. I don’t have regrets being one and I’m ready to be a missionary for life even if the world gets more financially bankrupt, because Jesus Christ is my employer.

However, I want to ask this question? Are we still very active at going on group, subzone and zonal missions outreaches? That practical aspect remains more impactful. The coming of Christ depends on our continuous raising of missions minded Christians that will be willing to take Christ to the nations with clear understanding of the world pattern today.

I’ve been a leader since 2016 till now, it all started with NIFES. I started as a First Year coordinator then to the group president.
I learnt to respect the office and not just the person occupying it because it could be someone whom you’re older than.
I learnt how to make report and learn how to take responsibility for actions under my watch rather than giving excuses.
Thank you NIFES and congratulations 🎊

I heard and saw God move in diverse ways in Nifes. It was my grooming ground where the best was shaped out of me. I never knew I could get this better comparing the way I was before I entered school and the state of my life upon graduation.  Should I start narrating the the encounters at LTCs, NDPCs and the NMC of 2022 God was seen in each of them. I can boldly say that Nifes is a movement of Christ-like students in Nigeria’s tertiary institution that transforms the campus and society upon graduation.

Let me talk about one of the numerous acts of love I witnessed.
During the period was dad was sick and hospitalized, Nifes students flooded the hospital. Different students came almost everyday till he was discharged and guess what, they never left without shaking the ward with prayers. My president during my service year was always spending the night with me at the hospital, ensuring that all that was needed for treatment were made available. Nifes students from my school prayed in fellowship and also held a vigil when they heard my dad was sick. They prayed individually and also as a group. I really cannot say all that happened during that period here but all glory to God for what HE used them to do.

I’m so grateful to God Almighty and Nifes. God bless Nifes
Long Live Nifes!
Long Live Enugu Zone!!

Nifes! A great mother.

My journey with Nifes started in my NCE days, I had thought I was going to school to explore because I already had the freedom I didn’t have at home.

But Nifes took me, gave me total freedom (christ)

Today, Nifes has built me to be a leader, a purposeful lady, a skillful lady. Nifes brought out and is still bringing out the best in me.

You cannot be timid as a Nifesian, it’s not possible.

Today, there is no where I cannot speak.

Nifes is home and I am so grateful I am home.

Thank you for building me, Nifes.

I love you so much.

Oluwaseun Esther

NIFES gave me a home In school

The only thing I will miss when I leave school is NIFES🥹

NIFES is a place of assignment

NIFES is a place of Purpose

NIFES is a place of discovering potential

I am grateful for the gift of this body called NIFES

THANK YOU NIFES

The story of my Christian journey cannot be complete without NIFES.
I got born-again in a Welcome Fellowship organized by NIFES ABSU four months after I gained admission.
The follow-up and discipleship programmes of NIFES have contributed immensely in positively shaping my life.
Thank God for NIFES as I celebrate NIFES at 55.
