My NIFES story!!! Hmmm… I usually would tell anyone who cares to listen, “the story of my spiritual growth is not complete without mentioning Nifes” Nifes is a school of ministry if you ask me. It all started in Nifes Absu in the year 2008. Nifes was the best thing that happened to relationship with God after I had just lost my dear momaa in 2007, the same year I got admitted. I got introduced to Nifes by my room mates who were then excos, they were definitely very warm and friendly. Before then I had tried my Church fellowship but I wasn’t feeling the vibe.
As soon as I stepped into the school Auditorium, I knew it was the place for me!
From the prayer meetings; bush house prayers, to the Bible studies, to the morning cries, to the classroom ministrations….it was indeed a solid training ground for me!
People wonder how I am so bold when it comes to speaking about Christ In the open, of a truth, as the righteous, we are as bold as a lion but then the training was all started in Nifes. And I’m forever grateful to the friends that I made connections with! So in summary, Nifes was and I believe still is, a place of Molding! You will be glad you were part of it!

I love this family of God so closely knitted into work. They took me into their arms and I am so glad to say I love this family.
Yes my encounter with God in my days at NIFES FUTO remains indelible in my mind. The leadership trainings, the life transforming messages, the practical discussions in the Discipleship cell groups, the prayers in the prayer garden, the opportunity to do mission work at Emeabiam and Eziobodo. The great works that God did through very feeble young people like us. NIFES will not die, Congratulations to NIFES@ 55 years. It shall continue to fulfill her call over Nigeria.

My Campus Fellowship Experience
I have always been interested in drama and theater, so when I saw a poster for a drama night organized by a campus fellowship, I was intrigued. I decided to attend the event and see what it was all about.
I found out that the campus fellowship was a Christian organization -NIFES that aimed to help students grow in their faith and develop their talents. They had various units, such as drama, music, dance, media, etc., where members could express themselves and serve others. I was especially drawn to the drama unit, where I met some friendly and passionate people who welcomed me warmly.
I decided to join the campus fellowship and I started attending their weekly meetings and activities. I learned a lot from the drama unit, where I was trained on how to act, write scripts, direct scenes, and use props and costumes. I also participated in some of their outreach programs, where we performed dramas for different audiences, such as schools, churches, etc.
But the campus fellowship was not only about drama. It was also about leadership and academic excellence. I attended some of their seminars and workshops, where I learned valuable skills and tips on how to manage my time, set goals, study effectively, communicate clearly, and work in teams. I also received mentorship and guidance from some of the senior members and leaders of the fellowship, who helped me overcome some of my challenges and encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
Being part of the campus fellowship has been a rewarding and enriching experience for me. I have made some great friends, improved my skills, discovered new opportunities, and grown in my faith. I am grateful for the chance to be part of this movement that is making a positive impact on the campus and beyond.
My NIFES Story ☺️
Indeed it was an interesting one
Well before I gained admission 2017 have heard of NIFES because some Nifesians then usually come to my church for ministrations, first of all my father in the Lord, Rev F.S Ibrahim was a Nifesian, now an associate, he keeps telling me to join NIFES as soon as I gain admission and eventually I did, not because of what my daddy in the lord Said but because of the love I saw in them when I
visited as a first timer.
Fast forward to my first conference EDC(Easter Discipleship Conference) wow it was mind blowing and powerful and till I graduated I didn’t miss any conferences(LTC, NMC,NDPC) as far as I was in school. NIFES really groomed me in the areas of leadership 🥺, just a little girl that never had it in mind for any thing such as being a leader infact I was so afraid in holding any leadership position but boom I was made the Bible study Secretary 🥺 I cried that very day of handover, after that I became the group vice president, my God I didn’t know what to do at that stage of my Life 🥺 God really helped me for good two times that I was the vice president and also welfare director. My spiritual life was strengthen, my academics didn’t fail me despite me holding any position.
If you are looking for a place to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, maritally 😂even financially because NIFES isn’t broke ☺️come to NIFES 🥰
NIFES teachings are still helping me

My NIFES story:
When I got admission to the university my mum was so worried…it was a new place and I knew no one in around there (I still dey school sha)… So as God will have it then person that was to drop us at the park linked us up with someone who lives there so we could spend the night and find our bearing the following day.
The following day, this family decided to link us up with a student in the school. She(the student) took me in while I was trying to process my registration and everything. She was the one that told me about NIFES. Before then, my mum had told me to be open to other fellowships and not to just attend the one I have been attending from home.
Fast forward to my first meeting in NIFES UNIJOS🥺,it was during EDC(Easter discipleship conference), I felt at home, everybody wanted to say hi to the new comer😂😂(a part of me felt like a celebrity). It was amazing to see how close and sweet these set of people were. As a newbie, I was really interested in joining a family that would care about me in all areas~ a place I won’t be scared to be myself. I knew I had found a home in NIFES since that day. If you’re a newbie in your institution or you’re looking for a place to grow both spiritually, academically, materially and maritally 😂😂.. please find out about NIFES… It is a gathering you won’t regret
P.S. At EDC, I ate like three plate of food😉. Who knows, yours might be the whole cooler… Miracle no dey tire Jesus 😁
I am happy to have passed through NIFES and also served as an Executive in this great family at the Fed Poly Ede.

*”NIFES: Unlocking Boundless Creativity, Value, and Excellence on Campus!”* – David’s Story
When I received my admission into the university for the 2017/2018 session, my excitement knew no bounds as I eagerly anticipated joining the NIFES family in my school. Having been exposed to NIFES conferences through my father, a NIFES associate, since my early years, I entered university with a clear determination to become a part of NIFES.
The love and fellowship I encountered in NIFES surpassed all expectations. Within this community, I found a nurturing environment that fostered my growth in love and fellowship with God. It was here that my character, mindsets, and ideologies about life, leadership, success, purpose, and ministry were shaped.
As a young and ambitious individual with a passion for media and IT, NIFES provided me with a platform to express my creativity, setting me on a transformative path to discover and walk in my God-given purpose.
From being a dedicated student to becoming a volunteer staff member, NIFES blessed me with invaluable trainings, conferences, opportunities, mentorships, and relationships. Through these, I was moulded into a person of value, creativity, and excellence. Today, I stand before you as a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the profound impact of NIFES in my life.
